Who Me?!?

Ramblings about life; my loves, likes, quirks, vices, daily (mis)happenings, family & kobe(s)- my cat & #8. I'm like uh huh, uh huh, okay, okay, wassup, wassup, shut up, shut up. That explains it.

Hello, Goodbye, Hello, Goodbye!

Peace Out Torino

The Winter Olympics have come to an end. Well done Torino, I was very entertained. It was great fun have them on tv all 25,080 minutes. My TV was actually on NBC for that long.

The opening & closing ceremonies were pretty wacky yet spectacular. As were the events. Lots of dramatic goodness.

Johnny Weir was the best dressed:

Fabulous & Flaming - literaly! Here is a silly article with him on a Louis Vuitton shopping spree.

The falls & crashes are very exciting too. The Sasha-smasha was shocking! Even Gold Medal stealer Japanese lady was shocked!

You know that is exactly what she was thinking!
Caption & pic courtesy of The Bastardly.

More crashes, upsets & victories:

This American biznatch thought she was soo cool. She tried to do a grab on the last ramp to the finish line & ate it losing the gold medal! Hello!!!

Too bad this wasn't an event - I would totally be an olympian!

The best part of the end was the invite to Vancouver! OK - I'll be there! Hello - it's only my home away from that I've never even seen/where Mom was born!! We are there - who's coming with me??

Hello Canadialand!!!

The Magical Valencian Mountains

I am now officially a seasoned wabbit hunter.

Just kidding! I am a Magic Mountain Season Pass Holder!

We went for two days over Presiden't Day weekend. Sunday was groovy; we got on 6 rides in 3 hours. However, Monday was another story. 3 rides in 6 hours. 3 hour wait for X alone!
This was the tamest ride so I brought the camera along for some action shots.

I found some moo cows chillin' in the magical hills...

There's a full year of wild & crazy rides (and lines) ahead!

I was bummed to hear that Sheryl Crow has the Cancer. Kinda weird how Lance had it too. But she's a tough chick; I'm quite confident she will be a survivor.

R.I.P Don Knotts

He was a true classic. Who will ever forget him as Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show.

Or as Mr. Furley on Three's Company?

He will be greatly missed but is mortalized through TV - thank goodness!

Paris Hilton Reads my Blog

So does Liz Hurley. Well they must cuz they are totally sportin the new baby bump look. Even Cityrag agrees. I told ya'll it was the next big thing. hehehehehe!

We met up with Val and crew on Saturday night @ King Neptunes. It was good to get together but it was a total Los Al reunion - barf!!!

We had a lot more fun the last time we went there. And a lot more drinks too....

Brooke is in town so we'll have to do some more celebratin' for celebratin's cause - & to celebrate the rebirth of Mardi Gras!

Juicy Bits

The Best of Both Worlds

The Craziest Concert Mashup Ever:

Kanye & RHCP will be in concert later this year.
I loved both when I saw them each in concert. I wonder who would be the headliner?

Baby bumps are the new Blog

But they are really like the new Balenciaga, every girl has gotta have one.

Who will pop first?

And look, Vanessa Bryant. She only gets a mention because Kobe is sitting next to her. She is apparently still bitter over something. Eh-hem.

Just say no

I am surprised to see that overalls are coming back. Unfort Rachel looks great in most everything and now girls everywhere will want to wear them.

I know Bai Ling does not qualify as being a trend setter, but seeing two people wearing them was enough to scare me. However, I would like to thank both Adam & Rachel for appearing in public period because they are so cute.

Who knew there was such beef?

Wow this would make great television.

Martha and Donald has some words for each other:

He said: the Martha version of "The Apprentice" was a mistake for everybody especially NBC.

She said: "Martha Stewart: The Apprentice" floundered last fall canceled after one cycle because Trump would not take his competing show off the schedule. Her show was supposed to be the only "Apprentice" and was meant to start out with her firing Trump on the air. Having two `Apprentices' was as unfair to him as it was unfair to me," she told Newsweek. But Donald really wanted to stay on.

He said: take responsibility for your failed show. Your performance was terrible
in that the show lacked mood, temperament and just about everything a show needs for success. I knew it would fail (!) as soon as I first saw it and your low ratings bore me out. Between your daughter, with her one-word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor, it never had a chance much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records. Essentially, you made this firing up just as you made up your sell order of ImClone.

She said: His letter is so mean-spirited and reckless that I almost cant believe my longtime friend Donald Trump wrote it.
Ouch. I actually watched Martha's version and quite enjoyed it. That is not saying much since I will watch just about anything. But lets all tune in to watch Donald do it again starting this Monday 2/27.

Idol Week 1

Ok, now its serious. The first group of 4 will be voted off. Is it mean that I can't help but laugh at those who have to go home first? Too bad, I say HA!

There is an online game you can play for prizes, by choosing who will go home each week. idolgohome.com.

My picks to leave the show are:

Girls: Stephanie Scott & Heather Cox

and Boys: Bucky & Bobby.

I have changed my ways as far as who I like the most and/or think will make it top the top 6 positions. But now its not split by gender. I didn't think the guys had much going for them, with the exception of Ace, my new dreamboat.

I voted for Sway cuz he's Sway even though he was out of tune. I also thought Chris did a good job, so I voted for him too. The girls were far superior the night before, with the likes of Mandisa, Kellie, Paris, Lisa and Katharine all kicking butt. But, to quote Randy, 'yeah, i don't know who its gonna be dogg.'

I added a new blog to my list also, American Idol 2006 Blog. All the video clips & recaps you will ever need. They pointed out this interesting tidbit: Jay Leno dude (Taylor Hicks/Grey-haired guy) already has a album you can buy! Hmmmm.

Let the Voting Begin

American Idol will be on for 3 nights this week. Holy moly. Yes, I am totally going to vote, just like I do every year. Hey at least I admit it!

I've made my pics for top three boys & girls:

Ace is token hottie. Chris is the rocker dude & Sway - come on! his name is Sway! But I do really like his voice too.

Paris can definitely sing, I'm sure it helps to have a relative already in the biz, but will we have an Idol named Paris? Kellie too - she's definitely already rackin' in the sympathy votes with all those crying clips, but we already have a Kelly. Mandisa is a great singa. No doubt.

I think this years Idol will be a guy. It's definitely hard to believe that there is not some influence on the outcome by part of the producers/network or whoever. Kelly, Ruben, Fantasia, Carrie - I'd say its time for a white boy!! Ace perhaps? I can't be sure who I am choosing as winner, there is too much to be seen. May the best idol win!

This Just In!

Great news! Bree as in Bree like the cheese, Breezy in da heezy, etc. has launced the amazing new blog, The Breemix! Check it out!

Oh - and something Bree would appreciate just as much as I, Perez has announced that there will FINALLY be an H&M in LA! hooty-hoo!!! I can't wait!

We goin' shoppin', we gonna bargain hunt!

Brrrr, its cold out - now take off your shirt!

Seth is also debuting the new Olympic event, Snowboard Cross. A bunch of wild and crazies go boarding down the mountain at once! It premiered last night, but I was snoozin' trying to fight this darn cold. Ah well, thank goodness for DVR!

They don't know very much about Xavi here, cuz he's a Frenchie! Ooh, la, la.

Bonjour!

What he is known for:

Too bad he didn't even medal. Oh well good luck at the NFL!

I <3 You (tube)

Happy Valentines Day Lovers!

I celebrated with my valentine a few days ago as he is working tonight to feed all the other lovers in love. I am certainly feeling the love in my personal life and am very lucky at that. However if today hasn't been the crappiest crap fest @ work! Nobody in the biz is feeling the love! ARG!!! So this clip below should help those who may not be feelin' it either!

I saw this clip originally on the Jimmy Kimmel show. & I was so glad to find it on Youtube.com so I could share the hilarity. Nearly any outing featuring brit n' k-dad is laughable but this cracks me up everytime I watch it. The face she gives defines her entire image for me. Watch for it right after the interviewer asks about her wrist band. I do not recommend watching for much time there after as I can not guarantee your sanity.

The Boys of Winter

The Olympics started today. (When I wrote this - See below). Yay! Let's all watch 418 hours of spandex outfits going really fast. I know I'm going to. I definetly want to watch Shaun White & this new kid I saw, Mason Aguirre. GO USA!!!!

As always, there are handsome, young boys to oggle.
I've picked a few to profile for the 1st day of the Torino Winter Olymics XX.

He's the youngest of the U.S. team, he's cute too.

Shaun will be great to watch. I am really excited for his fancy tricks!

I like him because he is the "Bad Boy" of the Olympics. That makes him sexy.
OK - So I'm really late on this - I saved this post as a draft and forgot about it last Friday. By now the Men's Snowboarding Halfpipe event is over - I didn't even see it and I am really bummed about that!! Shaun took home Gold & Mason Silver. Way to go BOYS!!! I wish I could have seen it! Here is Shauns victory run:
The Olympics Continue.................and so will my profiles on the cuteness.
USA! USA! USA!

Grammy Whammy

Winna, winna, winna!!!

Kanye, John & Mariah were all tied for the most noms at 8, and all walked away with 3 awards. Not too shabby! U2 had the most, I don't care to check on how many that is. I read that they won 3 awards for the same album last year - not fair!

Doesn't Kanye look a little like Diddy in that pic??
The Green Carpet - Teri Hatcher, good grief. Put something on. She should just get trashed and fall in a pool somewhere.

Kanye brought Brooke his "girlfriend." I think he had a boyfriend obligation to cuz he's been rumored to have been hookin' up with Pamela Anderson & Fantasia lately, but in his Jesus was a Rolling Stone article he says hes been faithful with his girl for a year and a half. Shes pretty cute but he looked embarrassed to be with her! She kinda reminds me of Arulan from Real World Las Vegas.

Also, what the heck was he wearing? Scarface wants his shirt back. And Leather gloves - what? It was like 85 degrees today in LA. Sweaty palms much?
Opening Act: Gorillaz & Madonna were my favorite!
Watch it here:

I love them, their animation is perfection; the hip thrusts, text messaging and the dozin' drummer. De la Soul are classics and Madonna was hot!

Not to mention her backup dancers. I really want to find the "Feel Good/Hung Up" mashup!

Audience shot: Nicole Kidman is sitting w/ Keith Urban - I thought they trying to hide their relationship?? Ya - they're not together..

"Nic, just keep looking down and they won't notice us!"

Stevie & Alicia compliment each other so well. The audience seemed awkward during the sing/clap along. They presented Kelly Clarkson with the first Grammy of the night for "Since you been gone" Love that song - the best song to sing along with by far! For Best female vocal performance she was up against, MC, Gwen, Bonnie Rait & Sheryl Crow! She is so cute & deserving. I love her songs - & everyone in the world can't help but sing along to all of em. She could barely speak she was crying so bad.

Coldplay performed "Talk" - great song, great performance.

John Legend performed:

Legendary. Fo sho.

Country YAWN. It did suck that the light people were mic'd & could be heard above the singer. U2 brought out Mary J. she always rocks it. She loves doin' those remakes. Fourfour comments.

The boys of "Crash," Matt Dillon & Luda presented Kanye West with #2 for Best Rap album. WOW see comments above - he dissed his girl on camera by turning his face and only letting her kiss him on the cheek. Cheeky indeed!

The Kanye West Show.

But of course I am glad he won.
Kelly performs - she is still as sweet as in the clip from '01 wishin' she would be on the Grammy's with Madonna one day. 5 years later. She is my one & only American Idol.

Gwen (presenting) looks sooooo happy. I love her too. Her dress is cool with the green part on the bottom. She is my favorite of all the preggers!

Best Rock Album: Coldplay, the Foo's, The Rolling Stones (?), U2, Neil Young (??) Come on Coldplay!!!! Boooo. U2 won. Whatever.

When did Ellen Degeneres take over hosting the Ellen Degeneres show? Then Paul McCartney. I had to FF the first song.....and then the 2nd was that a Beatles song? Why not play one I've heard before, please??

BEP & JLH (why is she there??) Will.I.am snatched her up. Fergie looked pretty good (oops, until they zoomed in.)
Best Male R&B performance. Jamie Foxx v. John Legend v. Mario v. Usher v. Stevie Wonder. Yeeeaaahhh!!! John won - he is soooo good. Even among that kinda competition he blows em all out of the water. Just him on the piano. Exactly. I want to hug Stevie Wonder - he looks like the nicest man alive.

Wow Mariah looked pretty good. Except for that face. It was just as painful for us, MC.

She sounded like crap, just like me when I sing "We belong together." Atleast the bedazzled mic mathced her outfit. Whaaat? This new song doesn't sound like "We belong together" OR "Don't forget about us" - how are we gonna learn the words?? Once she started waiving her hand around a lot more she sounded better. Maybe there is an antenna in the dang butterfly ring of hers and thats how she gets in tune.

Best Pop Vocal: Paul, MC., Fionna, Kelly, Sheryl, Gwen - I want Gwen on this one! OH Snap Kelly got another one! She is soo awesome. Now dont' cry Kelly! She didn't. But she did talk too much

Rap Collabo: 1,2, step - ciara,/missy, they say - common/kanye legend, soldier - Destinys Child/ lil Wayne, Encore Jay Z/Linkin Park, Rich Girl - Gwen/Eve. Jay is as retired as Destinys Child.

Dave Chappell is back.
The Family Stone tribute - now I remember why Fantasia won AI she can sing! Was that Randy on guitar?? AI reunion! He is jammin'! Ciara & Adam - "Everyday People" was cool. William is that guy from fat albert. The real Sly was there with Aerosmith - old dude with a blonde mowhawk. Will.u.pls stop dancing jumping around Will.

Jay - Z .... ok, J, one last time, performs with Linkin Park "Encore." Jay loves to reminise, he's already planning his comeback. Oh my, when Chester starting singing Yesterday, I cringed @ the thought of Paul hearing it, then he came in & saved the day, surprised me. Weird tho, Paul singing to Jigga.

Eckkk. Bruce Boringstein. I hate it when DVR catches up w/ live TV - no more FF!

Song of the year: bless the broken road, devils & dust, ordinary people, some long name (u2), we belong together. Boo no more awards for U2!! (OOPS!! - too bad they played Mariah's song when U2 got up to accept the award! HA HA!) Bono's dads name is Bob. blah, blah, blah.

No more dissin on the Kan man. He made my night. He is the best. No one quite like him. The MAN at work: Peep the performance by Kan & the Foxx:

Crazy off the m'r f'n chizzain.

KW Univ VS. JFU halftime AND GD VS. Broke Phi Broke.
It was like Westside Story 2006.

Record of the year: We Belong Together, Feel Good Inc., Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Hollaback Girl, Gold Digger. Oooh, tough one. Green Day deserves a win.

Ok is it over now? Kanye already performed.

Christina "Maria" belted out some ballad. She has a great voice but it so annoying!! Make it stop!
Best New Artist: Ciara, Fallout Boy, Keane, John Legend, Sugarland.... WOOHOO Love the Legend!

Hey look Pharell was there. Looking quite scholarly.

Nice work, Kanye, you done good.

He actually let Brook & Mom touch his Grammy Gold:
